The Nail trends of 2013!

Nail Shapes

This year its all about oval nails, forget the long square false looking nails of other years and the scary talons of last year!
Its all about natural long almond nails! Not only is this an easy to achieve shape, this shape is really flattering even making the shortest stubby hands look dainty. It elongates the fingers giving a feminine look.
Unlike more angular shapes such as square which leaves the nail vulnerable to breaking with its straight edges. This more natural shape is much more suited to weaker nails.
If long nails aren't for you then short natural shaped nails are also big news this year! These look fabulous with nude polishes which wont be going anywhere. Pale coloured nails are going to be huge!

Nail Art

Nail art is still in but forget your nail wraps! This year get your glue out its all about embellishment! 3d nail art is where its at, whether its stickers or gems! Nails everywhere will be adorned with bits and bobs. If every nail is too much then stick to the ring and pinky.

Nail Colours

Pastel colours are big this spring and that goes for nails aswell as clothes. Go for bright pastel colours which will pop with a tan. Two tone manicure is a hot look this year, with diagonal tips and nails being halved with two colours. French manicure in different colours wont be going anywhere ether. The metallic trend is big this spring summer and nails are no exception form the trend.
